Don’t Miss These Major UK Exhibitions

When it comes to exhibitions and trade shows, we’re sort of connoisseurs. It reaches far deeper than our love of free tote bags and the smell of freshly printed exhibition literature, and getting paid to visit and review them is pretty awesome, too.

We curated a careful selection of obscure and strange expo venues from all over the UK, so we’re confident there’s something for everyone.

From the macabre to electronics, guns and lace; here are our top picks for exhibitions, conferences, and tradeshows taking place in the UK in 2015.

Wellcome Collection “Forensics: the Anatomy of Crime”

26 February to 21 June

An exhibition of the interesting and the macabre, the Forensics exhibition at the Wellcome Collection is confident this event won’t have any fainters — this year. Other years have been more graphic and cause for a bit of a stir when the occasional guest didn’t agree with what they were seeing.

Some of the exhibits include video footage of open heart surgery, realistic wax models of people with heinous diseases, blow flies extracted from corpses, and even a porcelain dissecting table made by Royal Doulton. With a selection as diverse as this, we couldn’t make it up.

You can read more about the exhibition here:

Pure London at London Olympia

2 – 4 August

Boasting over 12,000 visitors and over 800 of the hottest brands in the fashion industry, Pure London is a premier fashion event. With 5 show-stopping runway events and over ⅓ of the brands debuting for the first time — there will be plenty of opportunity to be the first on the block with some obscure yet sophisticated rags.

This award-winning event is sure to satisfy even the most uptight fashionista.

Tackle and Guns Trade Show

11 – 12 October, Stoneleigh Park Coventry Warwickshire

If you missed February’s Great British Shooting Show, fret not. There’s still plenty of action in the tackle and gun space at this year’s Tackle and Guns trade show being held in Stoneleigh Park. Highlights of this free event include casting and lure pools, shooting ranges, and plenty of Exhibition stands UK in a comfortable atmosphere for retailers and suppliers to come together and talk shop.

Bride: The Wedding Show

14 – 15 March, Ascot Racecourse

A wedding show with plenty of contests and giveaways, those who enter in Bride’s draws have the potential to win £1,000 worth of wedding planning, 25 minute spa treatments, a girls night at the Coppid Beech Hotel with free access to the Apres nightclub and the Waves Health Club – in addition to a luxury Kuoni holiday, among other prizes. Bride is Berkshire’s premier wedding show, and is not to be missed!

Ultimate Dubs

15 March, The International Centre, Telford

The UK’s largest Indoor VAG enthusiast’s event, the Ultimate Dubs show is supported by international advertising organisations to bring its guests the very best show cars, car clubs, and brands like Audi, Volkswagen, and Seat & Skoda Cars from all over Europe to one place, under one roof, for one day — for your enjoyment.

Unlike any other car show in the UK, this one is packed to the teeth. Featuring the most popular show cars in the world, a wide range of trade stands, and representation from a long list of car clubs from all over the continent, this is one motor show that is sure to please.
